Our Process
We will gladly perform a preliminary assessment for you. Our friendly technicians will test for areas of moisture that may be the source of mold growth. We will determine the extent of your contamination and make recommendations on how you can immediately begin to protect yourself and those around you until the mold can be safely removed. If we find a level of contamination that requires certified, safe, mold removal, we will formulate a remediation plan specific to your need.
When dealing with property managers and commercial tenants, we often find that discretion is of the utmost importance. For the preservation of the customer base, it is sometimes imperative that our presence not be advertised. In cases such as this, our technicians can honor the need for discretion so that business carries on in the most normal fashion possible. If we find a level of contamination that requires certified, safe mold removal, we will formulate a remediation plan specific to your needs.
Each job done by us begins with a well-defined plan to keep mold spores from entering other areas of your home or building during the mold removal process.
Guidelines
Our mold removal technicians follow EPA guidelines, and our process takes place in a very controlled manner. Our first concern is the health and safety of those who occupy the space.
Preventing further exposure and cross-contamination is a top priority for us This usually involves plastic walls and/or plastic over doorways. We use a variety of methods including HEPA vacuuming, hand removal, negative air pressure, applied anti-microbial products, and machines that clean your air.
Our technicians will be protected with appropriate suits, eye protection, and respirators. Once the remediation is complete, we will remove all plastic and leave the space free of any debris.
How long does it take?
Depending on the level of contamination, safe mold removal can take anywhere from one day to several days. Each contamination is different. Severe cases of contamination may require longer periods of air cleaning.
Air Quality Test
We recommend an air quality test after every remediation. This provides the comfort of knowing that the air quality is back to normal levels and that it is safe to occupy the once-contaminated space.
